Sweetheart Cornbread

This cornbread recipe is on the sweeter side and not your traditional southern cornbread.

Eric has wanted cornbread from scratch for all the years we’ve been together. We’ve always used Jiffy cornbread and I’ll add a bit of sugar to sweeten it up. I won’t wade into the sweet/not sweet debate for cornbread. If you like some sweetness to your cornbread, give this recipe a go. This is slightly sweet, so if you like your cornbread sweeter, I recommend adding a bit more brown sugar or honey. This is a fabulous side for brisket. Happy cooking,
Kortney
