Maple Bacon Bourbon Chipotle rub and sauce made these pork chops sound and tasty fancy. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and chives. Highly recommend giving the sauce a try.

Maple Bacon Bourbon Chipotle Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 2 Pork Chops French Cut bone in
- Cabela's Maple Bacon Bourbon Chipotle Seasoning Or your favorite seasoning
Mashed Potatoes
- 4 or 5 Large Yukon Gold or Russet Potatoes
- 1 Clove Garlic minced More to taste
- ½ Stick Unsalted Butter
- 1-2 Cups Milk More or less for your preferred consistency
Bourbon Sauce
- 6-8 Oz Favorite Bourbon We used Jack Daniels Triple Mash
- ½ Cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 Shallot or Green Onion Diced
- 2 Cups Chicken Stock Low Sodium
- Seasoning used for your rub Amount to your preferred taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to 400 °F
Pork Chops
- Rub the seasoning with a generous amount of seasoning
- Grill until internal temp of minimum 145 °F, flipping every 6-8 minutes
Mashed Potatoes
- Dice mashed potatoes into even pieces
- Place in a pot, cover with water, and boil until done – look to easily stick a fork through several pieces
- Strain the potatoes and put back in the pot
- Add garlic, butter, and milk. Mash the mixture until completely mixed together
Sauce
- In a small pot add all ingredients together and bring to a boil, reduce and simmer/gently boil
- Stir constantly to prevent the sugar from burning – get the sauce to a thick consistency where it will coat the spoon
